The Proposal

On March 4th, 2013 we embarked on a vacation to Hawaii to celebrate my Birthday. It proved to be a vacation we would never forget. (Hint: We ended up celebrating something more than just my birthday!)

The Ring

When we returned to NYC from Hawaii, Steven took me on a romantic horse & carriage ride in Central Park where he surprised me with the engagement ring. (I was told it was being made and would arrive weeks later). I was emotional, to say the least. I have always been enamored with the horse and carriages in Central Park; but every time I tried to go… the plans would fall through. I always said, “The first man to take me on a horse & carriage ride is the man I’m going to marry.” Well, the rest is history!
